Why Arkee: building AI frameworks from first principles

Most businesses don't need another AI platform. They need a few simple frameworks that fit how they already work.

Arkee takes its name from arche, the Greek word for the beginning, or first principle. It is a reminder of how we want to work: strip a problem back to what actually matters, then build the simplest thing that solves it well.

That matters because AI adoption is getting harder, not easier. There are more tools, more platforms and more promises every month. A small business owner and the IT lead at a large enterprise face the same question: where do I start, and how do I avoid building something nobody can maintain?

Frameworks, not platforms

We think the answer is a set of simple, repeatable frameworks. Each one does a specific job that most businesses share: turning requirements into tracked work, triaging support requests, collecting audit evidence, closing the month in the accounts.

Each framework is built from the same small set of parts: an AI model that does the reasoning and writing, a workflow engine that runs the steps, and your existing tools as the system of record, so every action an agent takes is logged where your team already looks.

None of those parts is fixed. Many businesses already have an approved AI provider, a cloud they trust with their data, or an automation tool their team knows. Our frameworks are designed to run on the model and workflow tool you choose, so adopting one never means starting your stack again.

Sized to the business

A five-person firm and a global enterprise often need the same framework at very different depths. So we design each one in three sizes:

  • Seed for small teams: ready-made templates, live in days.
  • Grow for mid-size firms: connected to your tools, with approvals and reporting.
  • Scale for enterprises: self-hosted, fully audited, with release gates and controls.

You can start small and move up a size without starting again.

People stay in charge

The agents in our frameworks draft, build and check. People decide. Every framework has clear points where a named person reviews and approves before anything important happens. We think that is the only way AI earns trust inside a business.

Built with the people who will use it

Arkee is meant to be a hub, not a vendor with a fixed catalogue. We want to hear from people across industries about where work gets stuck, then build the frameworks that solve the most common problems. Our first framework, for software delivery, is in development now. What comes next depends on what you tell us.

Over the coming months we will publish articles and whitepapers here as we research and build. Some ideas will work and some won't. We will share both.
